PLEASE READ:
Options on these stocks are limited ONLY to what’s available in the menus above. Please do your homework to ensure compatibility prior to ordering.
Tikka stocks come with 2 aluminum pillars which will need to be cut to length prior to bedding/install. The optional recoil lug is a must for a proper bedding job. Be sure to add the recoil lug to your order if you don’t have one already (the factory Tikka recoil lug is embedded in the factory stock. It can be cut out and re-used, but this ruins the original stock to do so).
MORE ON BEDDING:
A qualified gunsmith will have to FULL LENGTH bed the action with pillars and a recoil lug to your stock. Pillars will need to be cut to length by the gunsmith you choose. The pillars prevent stock crush over time, keeping the torque values consistent. Our stocks are inletted/machined with the tolerance needed for a qualified gunsmith to bed your action. The bedding will ensure your action stays secure and is repeatable for a lifetime of use. We do not recommend bedding your own stock if you are not a trained gunsmith. Once work is done to the stock it is not eligible to be returned per the return policy below.
Please take a look at the close-up images of how the receiver (particularly the tang area), bottom metal, and barrel sit in the Carbon Hunter Stock when properly assembled. Due to the shape of the tang and CNC inlet tooling limitations, the rear of the receiver will sit just below flush. This is normal.
COLOR:
Our Cerakote stock painting process produces a 100% unique finish each time. Coverage and pattern vary on every stock. Your stock will look very similar to the color chosen, but not identical.
BOTTOM METAL FIT:
Our bottom metal inletting is setup for an ideal fit with factory Tikka bottom metal. It is also compatible with aftermarket Tikka bottom metals (i.e. Mountain Tactical), although there may be some variance in perimeter gap and bottom metal edge protrusion using non-OEM bottom metals.
GUARANTEE:
We stand behind the manufacturing quality and integrity of our stocks. If the stock has visual or fitment related issues, we will gladly address and resolve the issue UNLESS it is determined to be the result of an improper bedding job or other major modification. Proper bedding is imperative to the performance and longevity of your Tikka Stock.  All items returned for inspection must be unused and in new condition, including all hardware and paperwork. A returned item failing the preceding criteria may be denied. Once your return has been inspected, please allow 15 days for inspection. Once you have the RMA authorization, please ship the stock with insurance to the following address: AllTerra Arms 6898 Supply Way, STE 100, Boise, ID 83716
