The Zeiss Conquest V4 represents the best value in all of optics, in our opinion. Zeiss V4 riflescopes perform well beyond their price point when it comes to accuracy, repeatability, and durability. This scope is ideal for the weight-conscious rifle hunter who enjoys a great ‘bang for the buck’ long range capable optic. At 24 ounces, the V4 provides all the bells and whistles of scopes that typically weigh a bit more. One of our favorite features of the V4 is the locking windage turret. This feature makes it easy to dial wind for those who prefer this method, with a greatly reduced risk of the windage turret rotating inadvertently while hunting or traveling.
The 6-24x magnification range provides plenty of power for long range shots, but may not be the best choice for those who hunt tight quarters terrain where close, quick shots could be a regular occurrence. A low end of 2x for 4x would technically be better in these scenarios.
Don’t let the price fool you – this scope is worthy of any AllTerra rifle. We have extensive hard field experience with the V4 and it has yet to let us down. Technically the Conquest V4 glass is a step down from Zeiss V6 or V8 glass, but for most shooters in most conditions, the V4 provides excellent resolution and brightness. The ZMOAi-T20 reticle is very well-designed for users of all skill levels.
